HOMO SAPIENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After the presidential inauguration that took place on tuesday,29th of may,the song in every nigerians mouth is about how they hope the new president will perform better than the previous useless one.(their word,not mine). it does not seize to amaze me that people can talk about a leader who has served them for eight years like that.

At a restaurant where i went to eat,while waiting for my order,i overheard a group of people who were also waiting for their food talking about the election and the subsequent swearing in into power of the new president.All they had to say was how obasanjo messed up and looted the country and that made me wonder within myself, even a child that is very notorious and troublesome that causes problem for the mother cannot be spoken of in such a way because if u had asked the mother about him,i'm sure she will still have one or two good things to say about the child.
Eventually,i moved closer to them so we can rub minds together and share our views.Bitter thoughts were expressed and some people voiced out where they thought the previous administration had failed in which i agreed with them.But then,i made them realised that one person cannot do it all.He will only try his best and leave the rest.I'm not saying obasanjo has done very well but out of 100%,i will confidently give him 65% which is above average and a lot for someone to achieve in nigeria.
You might wonder within yourself what my point is,its not as if i'm rooting for OBJ or i'm in total support of his administration,but my point is that we should learn to appreciate our leaders no matter what.These are people that have been ordained to be in the position even if it is by rigging of votes or any other dubious means.I left them with a word and the word is" never judge anybody unless you are in the same position that person is.it is then you can truly know what that person is going through and feeling. But then what can we do,it is in the nature of homo sapiens.

ThE fUtURE

There are times i ponder within myself,what does the future has in store for me.Its not that i'm being pessimistic or i'm afraid of wat my future will be like,far from it! but then i think every right thinking human being should sit down once in a while to analyse what is wanted out of the future and how such aim can be achieved.
Three years ago,if i was asked wat i wanted out of life,i would definitely have said something but i found out now that those things i wanted has changed, atleast some if not all.Now i find myself modifying my aspirations and goals as i advance in years and exposure.
